Services


Sioux Trails Mental Health Center provides a continuum of therapeutic services to those in need of mental health services. Services are available for children, adolescents and adults in five communities: New Ulm, St. Peter, Gaylord, North Mankato and St. James. Evening Appointments are available at many of our clinic locations.  Some of our services are also available in clients’ homes, schools, and communities. Please call our site coordinators at the clinic in your area and they can assist in scheduling an appointment.

Interpreters are available for non-English speaking clients but we request that you notify us ahead of time if an interpreter is needed. Hearing impaired calls are accessible through a relay service.

Sioux Trails provides outpatient client centered psychiatric care for a wide array of client needs.

Telemedicine Services

Sioux Trails Mental Health Center is pleased to introduce Telemedicine services. Telemedicine services allow easier access to mental health services.  Telemedicine services are provided through two-way real-time interactive audio and video communication.

Telemedicine Services Include:

  • Psychiatry and Medication Management

Provides access to psychiatry/medication services from a Sioux Trails clinic close to home with providers in other areas.

  • Outpatient Therapy

Allows easier access to outpatient therapy services for clients who find it difficult to get to one of our clinics or who want the convenience of participating in therapy from their home. Eligible clients can participate in therapy sessions via a computer or smart phone either in a Sioux Trails office or from home.

Please check with your insurance provider to verify that Telemedicine services are covered by your plan. The first two appointments are required to be in the office to assess for eligibility for the program.

How to Connect to Video Visit via Mend App

 

Fees for services may be covered by insurance, Medical Assistance, Medicare, a personal check or cash.  Services are available on a sliding fee scale (based on income and family size) to residents of Brown, Sibley and Watonwan counties.  Full fees are charged to residents of other counties.  Co-pay and deductible payments are to be made at the time of the appointment.

Education/Training

Sioux Trails Mental Health Center can provide speakers for a broad range of mental health topics. Education and/or training can be provided to teachers, nurses, clergy, caseworkers, law enforcement, and to the general public. If you would like to request a speaker, please contact our New Ulm office.
