The NHSC helps licensed mental health professionals employed by Sioux Trails re-pay their education loans. All of Sioux Trails sites are NHSC approved sites.  Decisions on applicants acceptance into the NHSC reside solely with the NHSC.

Executive Director

The Executive Director plans and executes all aspects of the agency’s programs, and is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the organization. The Executive Director maximizes all external relationships with government, mental health organizations, professional groups and the community-at-large, and serves as the visible spokesperson for the agency.  The Executive Director’s activities should follow the agency’s stated purpose and the strategic plan, and should be executed in a manner that reflects stewardship of the agency’s resources.  The Executive Director is responsible for working effectively with the Board.

Internship Coordinator/Therapist

Sioux Trails announces an exciting new position as Internship Coordinator.  This person will be responsible for supervising our internship program, providing direct supervision to our interns and providing some therapy in clinic.  Candidates must be licensed in the State of Minnesota as an LMFT, LICSW, LPCC or LMFT and be approved by their Board to provide supervision.

Animal Assisted Therapist

Sioux Trails Mental Health Center is excited to announce the development of an Animal Assisted Therapy Program and seeks full and part time Licensed Mental Health Professionals interested in working in this new program.  Must be licensed in Minnesota as an LMFT, LP, LPCC or LICSW.  This program serves children, adolescents and adults. The position would be based in one of the agency’s five mental health clinics.

Outpatient Therapist

Sioux Trails Mental Health Center seeks full and part time Licensed Outpatient Therapist to be located in either our New Ulm or Gaylord offices.  Candidates should have  expertise and experience in providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults with identified mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

Sioux Trails offers opportunities to participate in and potentially lead efforts toward new services.  We currently offer tele-mental health services as well as animal-assisted therapy.  We are looking for therapists who want to provide services to children, adults and families.  Office hours for this position would be M 10 am- 7pm and T-F 8 am-5 pm.  There are also opportunities to work in our school-linked program.

Psychologist

Psychiatrist

We are currently seeking a Psychiatrist to work with adults and adolescents that have severe and persistent mental illnesses in our Medication Management program.  The position is a part-time contract position.  The responsibilities include conducting routine and adult psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and follow up with psychotropic medications as needed, providing clinical consultation to mental health staff.
